Cape Cod Beaches The Travel Channel recently rated Provincetown’s beaches the sixth best in the country! Provincetown actually
offers a wide variety of beaches, from Race Point’s dramatic sweep of tall dunes leading down to the Atlantic Ocean
to the more secluded Herring Cove, nestled at the spot where ocean meets the bay. Here there’s a place foreverybody.

Provincetown Galleries Provincetown is the nation’s first plein-air art colony, established more than a century ago by Charles Hawthorne.
True to that tradition, every Friday night the east end of town comes alive with art gallery openings. For decades, painters
and sculptors have set up studios here, with the well known Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center just one of several excellent
local institutions carrying on that heritage.
